The Makerthon is a hands-on national AI innovation challenge designed as part of the
Makemation National AI Festivals holding in 12 Universities across Nigeria where participants
don’t just pitch ideas, they build real, working solutions to some of Nigeria’s most pressing
problems. This is where creators, engineers and problem-solvers come together to design AI-
powered products that can scale beyond the classroom.
